We got a variety of food and let me tell you they didn't disappoint!!! We got the large and couldn't finish them so had some for the next day. The chicken bacon ranch was amazing! The pickles remind me of Disney pickles and we love those :) The service was great. Gentleman was very helpful and answered all our questions. You can definitely chill there, catch some sport and have local beer.

What an extensive menu...you certainly will find something delicious to eat here! Had a yummy BBQ Chicken sub with coleslaw! Mt husband had a huge hamburger sub with all his favorite toppings. Appreciate all the free toppings to choose from. After a long day of driving to CA, this place made our day! Being across the parking lot from our hotel was great. Hospitality is 5-star from Mike! The Rachel is just as good as I remembered from coming here as a little kid! I stopped by on a day trip to San Diego from LA, and it was the perfect pit stop. Always worth the visit--absolutely delicious!

Say "goodbye" to your chain sub places! This review is long overdue since we have found them around 2020. My husband and I haven't gone to any other sub spots after tasting the difference that Hungry Bear Deli offers. In fact, every opportunity we get when family and friends are in town, we suggest Hungry Bear. My sweet in-laws wanted to go back several times on their visit! This wonderful, family-owned business (run by a mom and son, with occasional appearances from their adorable four-legged friend) delivers a friendly vibe alongside some of the best sandwiches in town. My husband and I unknowingly visited last night literally 5 minutes before closing. Not cool, right?! They were so overly kind to us, didn't make us feel embarrassed or rushed - just grateful to have us there. We were so moved by yet another example of why they deserve our business! Their seasoned ingredients are grilled up right in front of you. Their menu has something for everyone (my husband's favorite is buffalo chicken and mine the veggie - loaded with melty cheese, heaping portion of grilled veggies, and fresh roll. By heaping, I mean I get two meals out of my sub! You have to try the egg and macaroni salad - they are family recipe and so yummy! The great selection of Mac Daddy beer and large TVs, make the perfect spot to chill and catch a game while indulging in a seriously satisfying sub!

Don't come here if looking for an average sandwich. The sandwiches are served on fresh bread that is delivered daily. The sandwiches are huge, made to order, anyone delicious. Order online to save time as everything is made fresh. Try the potato salad if they have it. It is insane! The best you'll ever eat!

We have been coming here for about 5 years when we are in town. It is on our "must eat there"list! The owner always greets us and as a small business owner, he appreciates his customers! Custom orders are always welcome. The food is fresh and always consistent! They cook everything as ordered, nothing is sitting around. I love the Cobb salad. It's BIG and so good! We went for the first time last night. We were trying to order for pick up from the website but were having some trouble. Since it's fairly cloud to us we just drove over. Best decision to order in person easier to customize.. Cashier was super nice. We only ordered 2 sandwiches but they hustled making it like it was a catering order. Our order: full size Italian cold....HUGE and delicious. Rueben on grilled marble rye.... very good! I kept saying I was full but I kept eating till it was gone. Lol They also had local brews. It's easy to find. Lots of parking in the evening. Please try this place. Support small business.
